The Brown County General Hospital Auxiliary recently conducted its Annual Meeting and Installation of Officers. This meeting was also the kick-off of the Annual Membership Drive.
Auxiliary Officers for 2007-2008 include Lois Holland, President; Pat Hopkins, First Vice President; Sharon Cornetet, Second Vice President; Polly Carcon, Recording Secretary; Delores Hobson, Corresponding Secretary; Arlene Lang, Treasurer; and Berta Moffett, Director of Press. Sharon Cornetet, Polly Carcon, and Arlene Lang were installed by Past President Margery Paeltz at the July 23rd meeting. Thanks is extended to the following who have served: Second Vice President Lorie Miracle, Recording Secretary Eileen Beasley, and Treasurer Donna Schweickart.
At the annual meeting, the Auxiliary was presented with a check from Jim Griswold and Arnold Weatherspoon from the Georgetown IGA-Plus. The Auxiliary and the IGA-Plus conducted a Food Festival in June, and the check represented a donation from IGA of 5% of the day’s proceeds.
